Affiliate Program Terms

1. The Program

The MelateBot Affiliate Program (the "Program") lets you recommend MelateBot with a personal link and earn a commission on the payments made on the website by people who sign up through that link. These Terms add to the MelateBot Terms and Conditions. By applying to the Program, you accept them.

2. Registration and approval

To take part you must be over 18, give truthful information and be approved by MelateBot, which reviews every application and may accept or reject it. Being an affiliate does not make you an employee, representative or agent of MelateBot; you act on your own behalf.

3. How referrals are assigned

When someone reaches MelateBot through your link, your code is stored in a cookie for 30 days. If that person creates an account within that time, they are recorded as your referral. Each account is linked to a single affiliate, the one stored in their browser when the account is created, and that link does not change afterwards.

4. Commissions

You earn a commission on every payment a referral of yours makes on the MelateBot website through Mercado Pago, including renewals and plan changes paid on the website. Purchases made inside the app (App Store or Google Play) never earn a commission, even when a referral of yours makes them. The commission is calculated on the amount MelateBot actually charged, after discounts and plan-change credits, at the commission rate in effect when that payment was started.

5. Discount for your referrals

You may pass part of your percentage to your referrals as a discount; your commission drops by the same points. The discount applies only when paying on the website and only while you are an active affiliate. In the app your referrals always pay the normal store price. The discounted price is fixed when the payment is started.

6. 60-day hold

Each commission stays pending for 60 days from the confirmation of the referral's payment. After that it moves to your balance available for payout.

7. Refunds and chargebacks

If a referral's payment is fully refunded or reversed by a chargeback before you are paid the commission, the commission is cancelled. If this happens after you were paid, we record a negative adjustment of the same amount on your account, which is deducted from your future commissions. That adjustment is only offset against future commissions; MelateBot will not collect it from you in any other way.

8. Payouts

You can request payout of your available balance once it is at least $500 MXN, once per calendar month. We pay by PayPal to the email address you register in your affiliate portal. You are responsible for any taxes on your commissions; MelateBot may ask for your tax details and make any withholdings the law requires.

9. Promotion rules

When promoting MelateBot you agree to: (a) not promise or suggest prizes, winnings or better odds of winning; (b) not send spam or unsolicited messages; (c) not pose as MelateBot or use its trademarks in domains, profiles or paid ads without written permission; (d) not sign up as your own referral or create fake accounts; (e) not offer incentives MelateBot has not authorized; (f) aim your promotion only at people over 18 and comply with applicable law, including advertising and consumer protection law.

10. Suspension and expulsion

MelateBot may suspend your participation while it reviews a possible breach. While you are suspended, your link does not record new referrals, no commissions are earned and you cannot request payouts. If you breach these Terms, MelateBot may expel you from the Program; in that case you lose any commissions not yet paid to you.

11. Changes and termination

MelateBot may change these Terms, including the percentages, with 30 days' prior notice by email or in your affiliate portal; changes do not affect commissions already earned. You may leave the Program at any time. MelateBot may end the Program with 30 days' prior notice.

12. Governing law and contact
