Melate Retro is a draw run by Pronósticos para la Asistencia Pública with a simpler format than the traditional Melate: instead of 6 numbers from 1 to 56, in Retro you pick 6 numbers from 1 to 39, plus a bonus number. With fewer numbers, the prize structure and the odds are different from those of Melate. Our historical Retro series begins on June 1, 2010 and now totals more than 1,600 draws.

The official results are released by Pronósticos on the same day as the draw. What days and at what time is Melate Retro drawn?
Melate Retro is drawn twice a week: on Tuesdays and Saturdays, at night. This is a different schedule from Melate (Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays), so if you play both, it helps to keep the days of each one clear. The Retro results become available shortly after the draw, that same night.
How do you play Melate Retro?
Playing Retro is very similar to playing Melate, just with a shorter range of numbers:
- Pick 6 numbers from 1 to 39 (or request an automatic selection).
- Decide how many draws you take part in with that ticket.
- Keep your ticket: it is the only valid proof for claiming a prize.

The top prize is won by matching all six numbers; there are also lower categories for 5, 4, 3, and 2 matches, and the bonus number plays a part in some of them. The order of the numbers does not matter.
